missingWrote a review on Jan 14cozy roomfull english breakfastpeaceful gardencreaky floors
I had a lovely stay for two nights in a cozy Single Room, and I especially loved the amazing full English breakfast that hit the spot. The garden area was perfect for unwinding after a long day, with a peaceful spot to read and a great place to sip coffee outside. Just a heads-up, the floors creaked a bit, but it didn't take away from the nice experience overall. 🌟

I enjoyed the environment and the interaction I had with the staff during my stay. They were attentive and helpful. One night, I walked to a local bar with a nice atmosphere, enjoying the vibe of the place.
The room had issues with the cleanliness and comfort. It did not match what was shown online. I found the space cramped and not very relaxing.

This place was a great match for a quick stopover in Bristol with good value considering the price it charged. The staff was super friendly and even called us beforehand to check if we wanted a quieter room. Make sure to check the heating in your room as it can be quite cold.

The charming decor is reminiscent of elegant Victorian times, making the atmosphere warm and inviting. Accessibility is great, with helpful staff ensuring smooth navigation throughout the hotel, especially for those of us who appreciate a little extra care.
More seating areas for relaxation would be beneficial.

Had a cheeky brekkie at Caffe Clifton, serving up fresh-cracked eggs that brought me back to life! The in-room refreshments were on point and replaced without asking. Plus, the lovely staff were a standout, helping with our baby's needs like champs!

The staff at the front desk were really friendly and helped us out when we needed a taxi during our stay and the breakfast they served was perfect lots of options and the cooked stuff was done just right
It wasn't exactly cheap but for what we got it was acceptable

Great location and pleasant staff
The hotel is ideally located near the vibrant Clifton area, making it easy to explore local attractions. The staff were genuinely welcoming, and I appreciated the delicious breakfast options available, especially the variety of fresh fruits and made-to-order dishes. However, the room I stayed in was quite small and could benefit from better heating.

The location was ideal, offering easy access to the nearby attractions. The shower was fantastic, and the bed provided great comfort for a restful sleep. However, the bathroom cleanliness was lacking on the second day, and the room felt neglected with its sad decor and cramped layout. I would have preferred more practical amenities over the provided coffee and apples, especially in a room that could use a thorough update.

Comfortable room, helpful staff, with a quirky bar and excellent breakfast that made our stay enjoyable, and the convenient location allowed us easy bus access to explore the area.
Didn’t dislike anything about the property.

we had a really chill stay at the clifton! the room was super clean and comfy. The staff were lovely and really helpful. we loved the fresh fruit and snacks in the room, it felt welcoming. the location was awesome too, really easy to get around bristol, so we were happy with that!
only downer was that the room was way too hot, like an oven! we could only open a tiny window, so it was pretty uncomfortable at times.

The Racks Bar & Kitchen is a right gem! Local produce in the room was a lovely touch, showcasing Bristol’s finest. The staff were super friendly, and breakfast was a solid spread.
Unfortunately, my Small Single Room was a bit of a letdown. The shower head was held together with duct tape, and the mattress had seen better days. A dusty fan didn’t help much either.

missingWrote a review on Dec 01great locationcomfortable roomhelpful staffheating issuescleanliness problems
I stayed at the Clifton for one night and found it charming with a good location near Clifton Village. The staff greeted me warmly upon arrival and were always ready to help. The room I had was clean, comfy, and equipped with a mini-bar and fresh fruit, which was a nice touch. The shower had excellent pressure and was new, making it a refreshing experience. I had some issues with the room's heating system. it became quite stuffy during the night as the window barely opened, limiting ventilation. I noticed stains on the carpet, which reflected a need for better cleanliness overall. While I enjoyed breakfast, the options felt limited, especially for gluten-free diets. Parking was also a bit of a hassle. it cost £12 and navigating the process was convoluted. Despite these concerns, the cozy atmosphere of the bar and café contributed positively to my stay. I would consider returning, but I hope they address the cleanliness and heating issues.
